In the latest episode of this brand new podcast, hosts Che Lingo (rapper, musician, anime lover) and Bec Hill (comedian, writer, anime-curious), discuss the fourth and final film in the Rebuild of Evangelion franchise: Evangelion: 3.0 + 1.01 Thrice Upon a Time. 

Che and Bec debate their favourite scenes and the creative genius of Hideaki Anno, as well as sharing their own experiences about making difficult work. Plus they are joined by writer, director and comic book author Aaron Stewart-Ahn who reveals how he feels about the ending compared to the original series and how Evangelion changed his life.

Misato and her anti-Nerv group Wille arrive in Paris, a city now red from core-ization. Crew from the flagship Wunder land on a containment tower. They only have 720 seconds to restore the city. When a horde of Nerv Evas appear, Mari’s improved Eva Unit 8 must intercept. Meanwhile, Shinji, Asuka, and Rei wander around Japan.

All four Evangelion films are now streaming exclusively on Prime Video.
