71. Christmas Special Part 3 : How to stay healthy in the silly season!

How to stay healthy in the silly season?! Well first things first, drop the guilt. Remember, food is here to nourish you and share with the people you love. So don't beat yourself up. Think about enjoying this mindfully, and enjoy them with someone you care about. 


We usually only really binge in private so know there's nothing wrong with a few treats over the festive season, just make sure you really enjoy them and it's a "shared experience" with the person you're having it with. 


Also remember this; Christmas is just one day. So you don't have to be indulging for a whole month, you can keep it to a few days. That said; it's easier said than done, today i went to get a coffee and saw my favourite local bakery have fruit mince pies (my favourite) and i didn't get one because i know i've got plenty of time between now and chrissy to enjoy fruit minceys. 


Take it easy, enjoy your chrissy treats but with people you really dig, make memories. Tune in next Friday for facing family, acquaintances and friends you haven't seen all year..
