79. Fearlessly Failing: Duncan Parviainen

Welcome to the first episode of 2021! What better way to kick start it than with the incredible yogi Duncan Parviaine. This Canadian born yoges teacher is quirky, funny, determined and driven. Duncan has built an online yoga and movement platform called HOV (Heart of Vinyasa); it absolutely saved me during Victoria’s lockdown. His yogi knowledge is unreal but he doesn't take himself too seriously so you'll be in this intense hold and he'll crack a joke mid hold. There's not too many teachers out there like that. Duncan, you are like no other and that's your magic, please don't ever change.

Check out https://www.hovyoga.com/ for his up-coming 40HR "Deepen your Practice" online Immersion. Or if you want to check the platform out so you can do online yoges and intenso classes wherever you are; use the code LOLA06 for 15% discount.

I’ve also done his 300 hour teacher training, and I looks like he’s got a new teacher training coming up in Byron Bay in May this year; check out https://www.bodymindlife.com/event/heart-of-vinyasa-300hr-advanced-yoga-teacher-training-2021 for more info, as someone who's completed it, i can't speak highly enough of this training.

Duncan has also newly relocated to Byron Bay, but this episode was recorded in Melbourne right before both of us moved up here at the co-working space The Hive. If you’re interested in yoges then this episode is for you, Duncan shares some of his favourite yogi philosophies.

Hope you enjoy! And just a quick one on 2021, I’m declaring this year the year of hope. I hope 2021 is a year of rebuilding and exploring new dreams.

Big love, Lola
