Nat Segal Interview | Holmlands Adventure Podcast | S1 E1

We kick start the Holmlands Adventure Podcast with our "Conversations in Isolation" limited series - speaking with some of our favourite athletes from the world of adventure sports during the global Coronavirus lockdown.

First up, Holmlands Founder Cameron Hall chats with Professional Skier, Producer and Writer Nat Segal ...

Originally from Melbourne, Australia, Nat spent six years travelling the world as a top competitor in freeride skiing events taking podiums on both the Freeride and Freeskiing World Tours while based out of the USA and Chamonix Mont-Blanc.

Nat's career progressed from freeride into backcountry skiing, where she also gained an appetite for creative and impactful content, developing and combining her passion for skiing with her film production and writing skills.

In 2016 she teamed up with her sister, Anna Segal and adventure filmmaker, Bjarne Salén to produce Finding The Line (2018). A documentary film that uses skiing as a vehicle to explore fear and how we as humans deal with this emotion - a film Holmlands at the pleasure to host the UK Premiere of in London in 2019.

Today, Nat lives in Revelstoke, British Columbia, Canada - where she is progressing her skills in all types of mountain terrain and producing more female driven content in the same vein as Finding The Line - with the aim of discussing topical issues that speak to an audience wider than just sports fans.
