Ali is 50 years old and has had a life less ordinary – she has a complicated backstory. This is a two-parter and in this first part we meet Ali as she is meeting her second husband. She already has two children who live with their dad and and after a series of failed relationships Ali is hoping that this next one will be different – but the blending of this family does not ultimately go to plan…with shocking outcomes.
She looks back on this time with compelling insight from her two sons who are now 19 and 27 and add a fascinating viewpoint as they recall things that happened to their family when they were much younger.
