Shahira Allen is a Black content creator from Yorkshire who specialises in food, travel and lifestyle content.

Shahira applied to BBC Studios TalentWorks to become one of Creators in Residence earlier this year because she was frustrated that representation in the media of the Black British experience outside of London was lacking.
