Avsnitt 30: Agency and social justice

As career and guidance counselors, we are committed to empowering our clients to navigate towards fulfilling careers. Yet, we recognize that these personal choices have the possibility of effecting everyones future in our collective society. 

In this episode of Vägledningspodden we are honored to host senior lecturer Dr. Marjorie McCrory as we explore the concept of agency and its implications within an unequal labor market. Dr. McCrory offers her perspectives on fostering awareness without burdening either the client or the practitioner with undue responsibility for the prevailing societal conditions. Together, we ponder the delicate balance of addressing social justice issues with our clients while upholding principles of impartiality and ethical practice.
