122. Brandy Crusta

The guys make an ancient drink-- technically the first cocktail to use citrus.


BRANDY CRUSTA RECIPE

  • 1.75oz/52.5ml Brandy
  • .25oz/7.5ml Maraschino Liqueur
  • .5oz/15ml Lemon Juice
  • 1 barspoon Curaçao
  • 1 barspoon Simple Syrup
  • 2 dashes Aromatic Bitters


Rub a slice of orange (or lemon) around the rim of a slim cocktail glass and dip it in pulverized white sugar, so that the sugar adheres to the edge of the glass. Carefully curl the orange/lemon peel around the inside of the glass. Then, combine ingredients with ice in a mixing glass. Stir and strain into the prepared glass.
