Kathleen Darragh

In this episode we talk to Kathleen Darragh about her new book ABC Goes GAA. The book is dedicated to the memory of Kathleen's son John who tragically passed away thirty years ago, aged just 14, after becoming unwell while playing for Ruairi Og minor hurlers. We discuss the support that The Darragh family received from the local community and the wider GAA circle. We also discuss her career as a teacher in St. Mary's Primary School and her views on the positive impact of sport on young people.
