Episode 27: Marissa Godinez- Restore, Recycle, Release

Marissa Godinez is an actor, artist, photographer, writer, furniture flipper, and environmental advocate. When Marissa was 19, she moved from Hawaii to LA to pursue acting and, as many actors do, worked as a bartender to support herself. However, during the pandemic, Marissa moved to Georgia and used her time to start her own business and YouTube channel as a furniture flipper (The Miss Flips) and is now able to support her acting career from home while doing something that she loves! In her videos, she provides detailed tutorials on how to restore furniture and turn it into your main source of income. This is an informative interview for anyone who is looking to find a new side hustle and say goodbye to the jobs that make us miserable. We talk about how to overcome creative blocks, flipping your disadvantages into advantages, getting curious about spirituality, her passion for preserving the environment, and how to create a truthful emotional life for your character. Marissa plays a fun round of 5 Second Summary with Grammy. Please enjoy, The Miss Flips, Marissa Godinez!
