The title of winter champions isn't quite yet in the back for Serie A table-toppers Inter after their 1-1 draw with Genoa on Matchday 18 allowed Juventus to close the gap to just two points as the Bianconeri beat AS Roma at the Allianz Stadium 24 hours later. On what was a low-scoring weekend, AC Milan and Fiorentina both claimed 1-0 wins over Sassuolo and Torino, respectively, while fellow European hopefuls Atalanta won by that same scoreline at home to Lecce.

Lazio beat Frosinone 3-1 in the highest-scoring game of the weekend, and the biggest shock saw Udinese beat high-flying Bologna 3-0. Elsewhere, Napoli and Monza drew 0-0, as did Cagliari and Empoli, and Salernitana claimed three huge points at Hellas Verona.
