We talk Fibroids and Menopause with Veronica Ebanks #S2 E2

In today's podcast, we discuss fibroids. Uterine fibroids are a common condition, especially among Black women. About half of Black women have them by the age of 35, and 80 percent have them by the age of 50, compared to 70 percent of white women. Fibroid growth is also more common in black women than in other racial groups. Fibroids can cause weight gain, heavy periods, frequent urination, or pelvic pain, and may require surgery.
