This week we’re joined by the nation’s favourite grumpy comedian - the incredibly funny Jack Dee!

Jack joins Kate to chart his journey through his unconventional path to comedy. Despite struggling through most of school, acting was the one thing that felt like home - so that’s where he set his sights. He tells us how while working in a bar, he discovered a newfound zest for learning and academia, which set the stage for an unexpected turn from acting to the world of comedy and a storied career ever since. He also remembers how he ended up doing his first gig: on a whim; one night, in the mid-80s, at 2am, standing in line at the Comedy Store, ready to show off his comedic chops...
