The Rise of Natural Therapies for Chronic Conditions

Since the start of 2020, more and more Aussies have been looking to natural therapies to help with conditions such as pain, anxiety and sleep issues, even though the number of high-quality clinical trials on these therapies’ efficacy remains limited.

So why the rise in interest?

One big factor: new online clinics have made it easier for people to connect with GPs who have a specialist interest in natural therapies to find out if they are eligible for treatment and if it is the right for them.

In this episode, we chat with Harry Baird, general manager of natural therapies clinic Atlus, to talk about the rise of natural therapies in treating certain conditions, finding medical experts to discuss eligibility and the future of this health treatment.
