Episode 159 - Mike Calvin Interview and Football on 5

This week we bring you a special feature length interview with the multi award-winning sports journalist and author Mike Calvin. Mike is a columnist for The Independent on Sunday and has just published his new book book 'Living on the Volcano: The Secrets of Surviving as a Football Manager'. Mike gives us his unique insight into what life as a Football League manager is really like, drawn from his experiences of interviewing the likes of Gareth Ainsworth, Shaun Derry, Micky Adams and Martin Ling.

Elsewhere, we've our reflections on a chaotic first week of the new season, which included fourteen upsets in the Capital One Cup first round. There's also our verdict on Channel 5's brand new highlights show 'Football League Tonight', hosted by Kelly Cates and George Riley - which premiered in its new Saturday night slot at 9pm last Saturday.
