Away from the studio, the VLW speak to director Huang Hui-Chen about her film Small Talk, a documentary about the relationship she and her mother have, with insights into her mother's job as a professional mourner and lesbian relationships, and other indigenous themes. Festival curator Aephie Hiumi Chen also tells us about the Taiwan Film Festival in London and Iceland, and translates from Mandarin for Huang. Soila and Leo also share how they feel about their relationships with their mums.
