Words We Hate, with Jenan Younis

Comedian Jenan Younis joins Leo and Soila in the studio share her thoughts on things people say: stan, peng, my bad, awesome... Once introduced on stage as a 'comedian of colour,' Jenan started thinking more about the term. Leo gets riled up over vague language use in reporting and history writing, and Soila talks about language in climate journalism as well as text speak, and emojis.
