Country Artist Avery Roberson | How to Start in Country Music

Avery Roberson, hailing from Rutherfordton, NC, was inspired by his father and grandfather to pursue a music career. His father, Tony Roberson, played in a country music band called the Hutchins Brothers, which had a Top 100 hit in the late 80s. Avery started playing the guitar and singing early and quickly developed a love for Country Music.

Avery Roberson's big break came when NBC's The Voice cast him in their 20th season. Though he finished in the top 28, the experience solidified his thirst for the stage. Since then, Avery has been writing music and spending most of his time in the studio. He recently released his debut single, "Ringtone," which debuted on the iTunes Top 100 Country Chart. His second release, "Lord Have Mercy," is gaining momentum, with a music video set out in November.
