This week we give a little whistle to Guillermo del Toro’s stop-motion passion project, Pinocchio, in which the famous puppet comes to life in fascist Italy. Next up is a strange adaptation of the even stranger true story of June and Jennifer Gibbons aka The Silent Twins, starring Letitia Wright and Tamara Lawrence. And in Film Club it’s another tale of destructive twindom in film noir The Dark Mirror, where method acting meets old school movie magic.
