Pea tribe member Jamila Rizvi and her acquired disability through a brain tumor

Kate & Mandy are talking to Jamila Rizvi; author, editor, presenter, podcaster, political commentator and mum of Rafi. She describes herself as “pea adjacent” having an acquired disability. At the end of 2017 she was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor. She had 36 rounds of radiation and two brain surgeries, which has done damage in that area of her brain causing a range of issues broadly due to the fact that her pituitary gland doesn’t work.
