Award-winning author Anna Finch lives in Melbourne, Australia where she works as an English and Humanities teacher by day and as a writer by night.

Prior to the release of young children’s fiction, Anna Finch published a Young Adult Urban Fantasy novel, Voiceless: A Mermaid’s Tale, which has won a number of awards and was in the top 20 books of 2022 in the Outstanding Creator Awards. Both of her children’s picture books, Hide and Seek Alphabet: With Australian Animals and Mellie the Mermaid: Is NOT Scared of ANYTHING, have become finalists and winners in multiple awards.

Hide and Seek Alphabet won the BREW Excellence Award in the Australian category as well as the Literary Titan 5-star award and was a finalist in the American Writing Awards.

Mellie the Mermaid won the 2023 Firebird Book Awards in Children’s Preschool books and was a finalist in the American Writing Awards.
