Not So Trash Reviews - Essay #3 - Berberian Sound Studio: The Horror of Sound Design

On the latest episode of the 'Not So Trash Reviews', Johann is joined by Post Production Sound Engineer William Peter Henley to use their combined knowledge of sound to audibly examine the 2012 film 'Berberian Sound Studio' by Peter Strickland. This film is both a love letter to audiophiles with scenes of Foley, dubbing and post sound but also a dark psychological exploration of trauma, exploitation and the power of psycho-acoustics. So plug yourself in, level your mixer and prepare to scream with this special soundscape of talk, sound and music.
