Going back 700 years

On the show today The Independent’s Head of Multimedia Tom Richell is joined by actor and writer Kevin Childs to discuss a new podcast series.


Passion And The Plague, which launches on Wednesday 20th May, will feature 10 stories from Giovanni Boccacio’s The Decameron. The book was written nearly 700 years ago during the Black Plague and bears striking resemblance to the situation today.
