Ben Errington is joined by Aaron Truss, the producer of the Cult of VHS documentary, an international cross-section of the history of the format and a love-letter to physical media, which has its world premiere at FrightFest on Sunday 28th August!

Aaron is an award-winning director and producer best known for ‘(K)nox: The Rob Knox Story’. Aaron studied at Thames Valley University in London and spent over a decade working in post-production, creating original content for IMAX and Sony Pictures.

Cult of VHS is a documentary focusing on the age of VHS, eccentric collectors from around the globe and the video nasties that became the centre of a controversial debate on censorship in the eighties and nineties.

This informative documentary explores the allure, the nostalgic artwork, straight to video titles and yes, the Video Nasties, through engaging, thought-provoking and entertaining interviews with collectors, film directors and VHS enthusiasts.
