Chronicled: The History of NUFC: Episode 22: 1984-1992: Relegation (again), new ownership and the Second Coming

Kevin Keegan has flown off into the Newcastle night via helicopter and the club are fending for themselves in the top flight.

What follows is an extremely turbulent eight years of managerial changes, backroom wranglings and frantic transfer dealings. The club arguably hit their lowest ebb as they teeter on the brink of the third tier until KK returns.

To discuss this dramatic chapter is NUST Board member and True Faith fanzine contributor Marc Corby, an expert in all things 1980s and 1990s at Newcastle United. Marc is also the admin of a fantastic Facebook group that encourages fans to share videos, images and memories from this period:
