Chronicled: The History of NUFC | Episode 7: 1914-18: NUFC and World War I

Episode 7 chronicles Newcastle United and the Great War, 1914-18.

Matt and Paul are joined by Dr Alexander Jackson who not only works as a Curator at The National Football Museum, he is also a Newcastle United supporter as well. Alex is in the process of writing a book entitled ‘Football’s Great War’ which is due out in 2022.

For further reading on NUFC and WWI, seek out 'To The Glory of God. Newcastle United & The Great War' by Paul Joannou which was published in 2018 to mark the centenary of WWI's conclusion.
