Matt signed for Southampton aged 16 and stayed for his entire career. His sublime midfield talents would have enabled him to play at any level, but silverware and cash were never his motivation. In part one, Matt talks about his idyllic Guernsey childhood, his love of cricket, how to hardly ever miss a penalty, and scoring the last-ever goal at the Dell.
