87) History of Vinyl w/ Christopher Boone and Kevin Smoker

The vinyl record renaissance over the past decade has brought new fans to a classic format. Sales grew a whopping 61% in 2021 as this dinosaur is coming back from the dead. Why is the vinyl record so appreciated and loved by music lovers?

I was happy to welcome Kevin Smokler and Christopher Boone on todays show. They have recently finished their documentary "Vinyl Nation." A film that dives into the history and appreciation behind the oldest music format.
