The rise of virtual running

Running has always been a great adopter and beneficiary of technology and the growth of virtual running is no different; the humble treadmill has been given a new lease of life by a global community, all running in avatar form. We spoke to journalist Isaac Williams about his recent investigation into the world of online running and to Stephen Cousins, a run leader on Zwift and regular using of online running platforms.
