S3 6. Masculinity (with Nathaniel Cole)

In this episode, Diggory and his sex therapist mother Cate invite writer, researcher and workshop facilitator Nathaniel Cole. Together, they discuss issues like the currency of ‘nudes’ amongst adolescences, how most young men have seen pornography and know it isn’t ‘real’ sex, but how they’re still not sure what ‘real’ sex looks like and how boys and girls are different, need different approaches to their sex education, and how we as adults can treat them like the adults that they will soon become and help in giving them that education.

Cate and Diggory also talk about their recent appearances on Channel 4’s Steph’s Packed Lunch in the UK and Today, Channel 9’s morning show in Australia as well as answering some of the sex and relationship questions submitted by listeners.
