The Sleepover Club: Christmas Time And Cancel Culture

It's our final Sleepover Club of the year! And to celebrate, we're joined by Polyester online editor and all round legend Gina Tonic to help see out this hellfire year with a bang. First up, we're discussing how to survive Christmas: from setting boundaries and finding alone time, to the perfect White Russian recipe to see you through any and all festive bickering. Then, Ione, Olivia and Gina are dissecting all the things that need to be left in 2020 (aside from the obvious). From social media censorship and algorithmic bias, to clickbait feminism, insta-slogan activism, and conflating holding people accountable to cancel culture.

What do you think we need to leave behind in 2020? Leave a review and let us know!

The Polyester Podcast is brought to you by Polyester's founding editor in chief Ione Gamble (@ionegamble), and co-hosted and produced by Olivia Graham. Polyester is a self published culture zine exploring intersectional URL feminism in the IRL world. Have faith in your own bad taste!
