Losing our jobs & getting our rocks off in isolation with drag queen Art Simone

We’re being the best gays we can be by social-distancing, but you can’t keep a good gay down. It’s our first remote recording, and Kyle’s back to spill on having to get home from South Africa in the middle of a global pandemic. We go on to discuss community responses to the news, the financial repercussions of COVID on queer people, privilege guilt, and getting our rocks off in isolation. We’re then joined by Melbourne drag queen elite Art Simone to discuss how local queens are adapting to venue closures, how drag helps her mental health and the fear of losing queer venues during the pandemic.

In our After Show, we chat about supporting virtual streams and whether a lock down is imminent.
