From newsman to money man: Jim VandeHei on the $525m rise of Axios

This week, Press Gazette's William Turvill interviews Jim VandeHei, the co-founder and chief executive of US news outlet Axios. Founded in January 2017, Axios has risen to become a significant player in the American news industry. Over the summer, Cox Enterprises acquired the business for $525m. In this episode, VandeHei (also a co-founder of Politico) speaks about the rise of the journalist-entrepreneur, the most exciting news startups in the US, and his new book, Smart Brevity.
