Is Your Acne Caused By What You're Eating? | This episode is brought to you by TrueDark
The food you eat can have a major influence on the quality of your skin. Yet, conventional medicine primarily deals with acne by lathering potions and lotions on the skin or tackling it with antibiotics or topical steroids. In fact, we spend over a billion dollars on prescriptions and over-the-counter products to cure acne. But eliminating acne is best approached as an inside job.
In this minisode, Dr. Hyman speaks with his colleagues at The UltraWellness Center about how what we eat can drive acne. They also discuss the biggest food culprits, as well as how to tell what foods might be causing an issue for you.
