The injection of positivity the banks got last week from announcement on the relaxation of lending rules continued to drain away today, with financials down 0.4%. Bank of Queensland fell 6.5% after revealing a $175 million provision for impaired loans. The Big Four all took a hit of around 0.7% except WBC, which dropped 1.3%.
