BRIAN TATLER (DIAMOND HEAD) (full english version)

Today's episode is all about a band that played a key role in the history of the origins of 80s Heavy Metal. It's the band that probably influenced Metallica the most in their early garage days: Today we're talking about DIAMOND HEAD! Their debut album "Lightning To The Nations" has just been re-recorded and released with the current line-up on the occasion of its 40th birthday. In itself, that doesn't sound that spectacular, especially since various re-releases of the original album are on the market. But what Brian Tatler and his brilliant current singer Rasmus Bom Andersen, who also produced the album at the same time, conjured up from these legendary riffs knocked me out of my boots. The new version of "Lightning To The Nations 2020" is pure energy. All seven songs of the original plus four sensational cover versions as a tribute.I wanted to know more and caught a very relaxed Brian Tatler on a zoom call.
