Garry Jeffery, Tunbridge Wells Business Owner

In this week’s episode of The Big Chat Nicole talks to Garry Jeffery, Tunbridge Wells business owner. Garry started his first business at the age of 17 in his Mum’s garage and discusses with Nicole the business journey he has been on since then. From a printing business to hospitality to funeral directors - Garry has experience in many sectors and is a great source of knowledge and expertise for aspiring business owners. Nicole and Garry discuss his local funeral directors business ‘Henry Paul Funerals’ , named after his late Grandfather and late brother, he talks about how it is family run. He is also the original founder of the TW soapbox, approaching Nicole back in 2017 with the idea of the town's now much loved Soapbox Race, formerly Crazy Jeans Soapbox Race. The race was originally named after a bar and restaurant Garry ran and owned called Jeans, named after his late mother. Garry talks about his plans for the future and also offers some inspiration to others looking at starting their own business.
