Secrets of Professional Organisers

This December we wanted to again practice what we preach and have some white space in our lead ups to Christmas this year. We decided to showcase some of the podcast where we have been the guests!

In 2017 we recorded 5 episodes around Christmas themes, Schedules, Decorations, Gifts and Wrapping, Christmas Functions and Christmas holidays and we repeated these again last year so if you are wanting some tips and tricks for the Christmas season have a listen to episode 22 through to 26, we will link to them in the show notes.

This week we are giving you an episode of Slow Your Home Podcast, one of our favourite podcast! In this episode Brooke interviews Kirsty, just a few months after we started our own podcast. We love Brooke so much that we had her on to celebrate our 100th episode so make sure you go and listen to episode 100 & 101 as well (we will give you a link to those too in the show notes).

Kirsty shares with Brooke the misconception of decluttering being the solution to every problem when really it’s often just one of the steps in creating an intentional life. She shares her history of being a messaholic and how practising grace with yourself will help you to declutter. Brooke described it as ‘big, honest and vulnerable chat that definitely peels back a couple of onion layers around decluttering and professional organising’.

We know so many of our listeners have come to this podcast via Slow Your Home, so we hope you enjoy this conversation again with Brooke McAlary!
