In this episode Rhys looks at investment in rugby, with a particular focus on the recent “invest in the league rather than the clubs” approach from private equity as well as at the controversial topic of promotion and relegation in rugby, whether it adds or detracts in appeal for investors, and the legal implications surrounding the topic.


Rhys is joined by former Australian Rugby Captain James Horwill, who has just completed an MBA at Cambridge where he researched and wrote extensively on Private Equity investment in Sport and Ben Cisneros a sports lawyer with UK firm Morgan Sports
