The Forest Stewardship Council mission is to promote environmentally sound, socially beneficial and economically prosperous management of the world's forests. Its vision is that we can meet our current needs for forest products without compromising the health of the world’s forests for future generations.

« Sustainable fashion is fashion that is sourced and produced responsibly, both environmentally and socially, but it's also renewable and circular. And essentially, it's fashion that has a positive social, environmental and economic impact. »
« What we want to do at FSC is to strive for the best results for the forest. »
« We're encountering a major problem, it’s that at least half of cellulosic fiber is still not certified. So we don't really know where they're coming from. That could be coming from areas from deforestation or human rights violations. And so leaving these forests unprotected and vulnerable is a major issue. »
