This week’s guest is drummer, Liberty Devitto the silent giant behind music icon Billy Joel. For over 30 years he was Billy’s touring and recording drummer participating on classic albums like ‘Turnstiles’, ‘The Stranger’, ‘The Bridge’ and many others. You may also recognize Liberty for co-starring in Netflix’s music documentary ‘Hired Gun’.

In this interview we sit down to chat about Liberty’s upbringing in New York, how he got into drumming, how he met Billy Joel, how became his drummer, and lessons he’s learned along the way. An amazing interview from an amazing guy.
