Joanna Hardy on law, sexism and the future of the Bar

Joanna came to the Bar following a solid academic background; she read Law at King’s College London where she graduated with First Class Honours and was awarded a postgraduate scholarship to read for her LLM Master of Laws, graduating with Distinction. Joanna reveals what it’s really like to be a female criminal barrister in the UK - after her viral comments about sexism in the industry - and gives career advice for aspiring young lawyers.
