Natasha Devon MBE on mental health, body image & young people

On this week’s episode of She Started It with Angelica Malin, I’m sitting down with Natasha Devon MBE. Natasha is a writer & activist, who tours schools and colleges throughout the UK, delivering talks as well as conducting research on mental health, body image, gender and social equality. Her current projects are the Mental Health Media Charter and Where’s Your Head At? which aims to change the law to protect the mental health of British workers. Her ‘mind manual’ -‘A Beginner’s Guide to Being Mental: An A-Z’ - was published last year. I chat to Natasha about her work (and how she’s “invented” her own career), the mental health epidemic in the UK, a very public sacking and what changes she’d like to see the government make to safeguard young people. Don’t forget to leave a review, rate and subscribe for a new episode of She Started It every Monday!
