Adam Turk - Accept Failure, Manage Risk

Well this was an unexpected chat. I had my list of questions which we both ignored while Adam explained risk management. Adam Turk is the CEO of Harbourside Capital and he generously explained how they have a process of choosing shares to invest in while managing the risk that they will be wrong at times. I met Adam on Twitter where we both seem to follow the same FinTwitterers and laugh at the same bad finance jokes.

"I think as humans, we struggle with the concept of not being wrong. Our whole education system, our whole life is built around our sense of self and to be valued for your opinion. Maybe that's something we should start teaching kids, that failure is all part of the process. And failure is a natural thing. When you really understand that it changes your outlook."
