Episode 46: Cervix Not Included - Cancer Awareness Special

In this episode we talk all things downstairs, from smear tests and hysterectomies to vajazzles and designer vaginas. We cover some sensitive and serious topics, but obviously we still manage to make stupid jokes.

Our guests are the lovely Sarah Waygood and Jo Grainger. Sarah talks about her decision to have an elective hysterectomy and the fantastic support she's received from Jo's Trust.

There's also some chat about the NCT and mums' groups in general. Helen introduces a very sophisticated and highbrow new game, Behind the Sofa Gopher. She also does a hysterectomy theme tune.

Cervical Screening Awareness Week runs from 15 - 21 June. If you have any questions about smear tests and cervical cancer or just need some support, visit the Jo's Trust website or ring the helpline - 0808 802 8000.

If you want to see us live, we're appearing at the Ivy House, Nunhead on Thursday 7 May. It's an Election Cabaret Night so instead of the usual t*t jokes, you can expect cutting-edge political satire! I.e. Lots of jokes about Nigel Farage being a t*t.
