191: Thanyia Moore on bullying, comedy, and Cabbage Patch Dolls

Our guest for this episode is the hilarious comedian, actor, and writer, Thanyia Moore!

We reminisce about the bad old days, when we were all on the open mic comedy circuit together. There's some chat about how different audiences can be, and the issues around race and gender that still exist in comedy today.

Thanyia shares her experience of being a school bully, and tells us what happened when she apologised to the people she was mean to in adulthood. We discuss what causes bullying, what she wishes the adults around her had done differently, and why she thinks it's time for a shift in focus in the way we deal with bullies.

And finally, we nearly come to blows over the subject of Cabbage Patch Dolls, before Thanyia entertains us with some brilliant Scummy Auntie Confessions.
