Jackson Hastings: Part 1 - Hard Lessons

Jackson Hastings talks us through his junior career in Warilla and through the Dragons system, he was often praised for his 'confidence' or criticised for his 'arrogance'. It just depended on who you asked. Moving to the Roosters had it's own challenges, including being the son of club legend Kevin Hastings. Jackson touches on the challenges he faced because of this and why Mitchell Pearce was such a great influence on him as a footballer, but more importantly as a man. Jackson talks us through an all time great spray from Sam Burgess on his debut against South Sydney and how he felt he handled first grade. This is just the beginning of the Jackson Hastings story though, there is plenty of growth to come through plenty of hard conversations and decisions. Stay tuned net Tuesday for Part II.
