10 Lessons Learned From The 2019 Championship Raptors

Host William Lou is joined by Vivek Jacob in the dead of summer to reflect on lessons learned from the 2019 championship run. Those lessons include:

  1. One-dimensional players wilt. Especially fives.
  2. Game 1 really doesn’t matter.
  3. Size matters. A lot.
  4. Unselfishness is a virtue.
  5. Depth really doesn’t matter, until it does.
  6. Flexibility in coaching.
  7. Determination is a gift.
  8. There’s always a Gerald Henderson type.
  9. You need some luck. A lot of it.
  10. It doesn’t happen without the all-time great.
