Last year, I read Young Mungo, one of, if not the best fiction book I have ever read. Certainly, a highlight of my reading in 2022.

I was so fortunate to get to sit down recently with the author Douglas Stuart and chat about this incredible book, which you can now get on paperback. The perfect read for your summer travels! As Douglas said, the perfect opportunity to give two Glaswegian lads a suntan! 

Young Mungo is an incredible book, which showcases the development of a young queer relationship and love story, set in Glasgow. It is surrounded by chaos, drama, toxic family relationships, and gang violence.  It is a story of someone being told who they should be, but discovering who they really are, and tapping into an inner strength, at a time when they need it the most. You will be gripped! This is a must-read book, so if you haven’t got a copy yet, grab one!
