In this episode of Queer I Am, I am speaking with the talented Oli Spleen.

Oli is a Singer, Songwriter and Front Person of their band Spleen and also released their first book around 20 years ago, which includes two fictional stories and one autobiographical, written about a time in Oli's life which was particularly challenging.

We talk queerness and community, gender and expression and also the process of healing and self acceptance. This conversation does include discussions about the HIV and AIDS epidemic and also mental health and suicide; whilst these are difficult subject matters, I am pleased that the podcast can provide a platform for this discussion, which is really important.
